Dharmendra Rathore

Founder & CEO

Dharmendra is a dynamic & hardcore Sales & Marketing professional with more than 13 years of experience holding different positions across various fields. He is a qualified Mechanical Engineer along with a Management certification from IIM-A. Working for Danfoss at various levels of sales and management, he established its new business division and handled overall operations pan India. While at Danfoss (2006-11), within a brief period he worked up the positions from being a Sales Executive to becoming a Country Head (Operations).

In 2012, he embarked on his entrepreneurial journey in the field of HVAC as Founder Director of Astitva Energeers Pvt. Ltd. and subsequently Energeers Facilities & Solutions. Over the last two years he has been a Co-promoter & COO of Allgreen Ecotech Pvt. Ltd. As a CEO & Founder of IOTomation, he has realised his dream of making IOT based automation affordable and reliable come true.

Dharmendra is active across various HVAC professional bodies like ASHRAE, ISHRAE and IGBC. He is currently office bearer of ASHRAE India Chapter as Vice President.

Mayur Toshniwal

Director & Mentor

Mayur, the Director & Mentor of IOTomation, brings over 20 years of experience in key positions in the Sales & Supply Chain Management of various products.

During the initial 12 years of his career, he served as Purchase Manager (Sales) with Asian Paints and subsequently handled its Supply Chain. Later he worked with Coca Cola, India as General Manager (Supply Chain) for a year. Thereafter, he joined Pantaloon Retail (India) Limited, as Head (Operations) for North Zone and subsequently as CEO, North Zone, driving the Group’s strategic decisions, operations, and business development for various ventures.

As President (Retail Operations) of Future Group’s Value Retail Business, along with allied businesses in consumption space, pan India, Mayur lead & mentored a large team in driving excellence across all their stores’ operation, P&L; and as the Group’s CEO (Telecom), he nurtured it’s telecom venture “T-24” (a GSM mobile service) in partnership with Tata DoCoMo. Additionally, he also served Future Axiom Telecom, a JV between Future Group & Axiom Telecom, Dubai, engaged in business of mobile handsets and accessories retailing.

Mayur holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from IIT-BHU, Varanasi and PGDM from IIM, Ahmedabad.

Alok Sharma

Director & Strategist

Alok, Director of IOTomation, is a green entrepreneur and comes with over 25 years of service in the space of technology, consumer electronics and business management for global companies – Apple, Sun Microsystems and Wipro.

He began his career as Regional Sales Manager with Wipro; followed by his stint as Director, Partner Development (South Asia) for Sun Microsystems’ first footprint in India. Moving over to Apple India, in his first innings, he drove the company’s education business and later served as its Managing Director. Under his astute guidance & leadership the company’s revenue grew 10 times in five years.

Alok is a quintessential entrepreneur & mentor of various start-ups with diverse portfolios. He is on the board of several technology companies; advisory & management team of Gujarat Vittal Innovation City (GVIC), a multi-product SEZ near Mumbai; and he also supports multiple projects in the social & education sector in areas related to the environment.

Sunil Sharma

Director & Domain Expert

Sunil, a dynamic & successful entrepreneur with ventures in varied fields, is also the Director of IOTomation. He began his career with significant Indian and US corporations such as Tata Consultancy Services, Target Corporation, Northwest Airlines, IBM, State of Missouri, Ingersoll Rand, and many more.

Sunil has been the founder of Globalcase Technologies Inc. USA, which has software development centers both in the USA and India and provides high-end technology solutions to customers having on & off-shore delivery models; catering to leading companies such as Target Corporation, Northwest Airlines, Delta Airlines, Ingersoll Rand and various other Fortune-500 companies for IT/ITES solutions.

Sunil also heads the Advant Group, headquartered in New Delhi. The Group, under his leadership, has pioneered several innovative concepts in intelligent green building technologies. Over the years, it has developed and successfully managed an enviable record of diverse projects, with expertise spanning over Commercial, Office and Residential development.

Priyank Garg

Director & Investor

Priyank Garg is a reckoned technocrat having varied & extensive executive experience working across different businesses and cultures. At Advance Valves as its Joint Managing Director, his focus is on scaling up existing & emerging businesses to diversify the group activities. He has also implemented new systems & processes, augmented new skills & talent to the organization, and introduced an all new innovative product (patent-pending) to the market.

Prior to this, he served as the Director - Product Management at Yahoo!, for its popular search engine used by millions of users globally. Working for Yahoo! in Silicon Valley for 4 years, he introduced many new products successfully to the market. Preceding this, he worked for Ensim Corporation - a technology startup, providing high-tech solutions for software-as-a-service vendors, where he provided leadership in Product Development & Management functions. Early in his career as a Consultant with Deloitte Consulting in Chicago, he provided IT solutions to large corporations.

Priyank has a B. Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Delhi followed by postgraduation in Computer Science from Stanford University. Over his professional career, he has multiple papers published and filed for more than 13 patents. During his stint in Silicon Valley, he has been an active member of TiE SV and the IIT Delhi Alumni network, and continues to maintain strong ties with his alma mater. He is also member of various professional groups related to the products at Advance Valves (www.advancevalves.com), including ASHRAE and CII forums.

Dr. Om Taneja

Dr. Om Taneja has diverse experience spanning more than three decades in the area of design, construction, operations and maintenance of large facilities like the United Nations Headquarters, General Electric Headquarters, and US General Services Administration. Of which 17 years experience has been in infrastructure development for hospitals, court houses, various commercial, industrial and historical facilities. He is currently appointed as the “Director of Manhattan Service Center” for the United States General Services Administration, where he manages the federally owned & leased properties with diverse & growing portfolio of assets, emergency preparedness and improved operations & maintenance.

He was nominated ASHRAE Fellow in 2015 and has served for different Society, Chapter and Technical Committees. As a “Distinguished Lecturer” for ASHRAE between FY 2012-14 and 2016-18 he successfully organized seminars on technology adoption, smart buildings, transformation of facilities management, operations, maintenance and staff development. He was also a Board Member of the USGBC, New York Chapter, which shares a synergistic partnership with ASHRAE for Energy Efficiency & Sustainability issues. He has been an active member of ASME, IFMA and USGBC.

He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from IIT, New Delhi, post-graduation in Control Systems and Ph.D. in Systems Sciences & Operations Research from New York University. He is a licensed professional engineer in power generation & distribution, sustainability, energy-efficiency, innovative technologies, operations and maintenance issues. He has been active in discussing facilities, sustainability and energy-related issues at various professional organizations.

Gulshal Jhurani

Gulshan Jhurani, is a Chartered Accountant with almost three decades of experience as a finance professional that includes over two decades of experience running financial modeling & restructuring, investment, and advisory services. Over the years he has advised some of India's largest corporations likes of GE, Morepen Pharma and the JCT Group on financial restructuring and profit creation.

The Build - Operate - Transfer model for broadcast facilities pioneered by ZOOM was his brainchild of which he is the Co-founder and Director. His financial acumen and resource mobilization's skills have fueled ZOOM's growth over the past decade and continues to lead it into a new era.

He is an active investor, mentor, advisor and board member across real-estate, hospitality, sports, infrastructure, technology, water and financial market. He co-owns ‘Indian Aces’ team in International Premier Tennis League (IPTL).

Sushil Sharma

Head Technology (Software & NOC)

Sushil has a rich experience spanning over 14 years in all aspects of software & solution – ideation, development, delivery and deployment.

While working in companies of repute like Stingray Technologies, Sopra India Pvt. Ltd. (now Sopra Steria) and AllGreen Ecotech Solutions, he has consistently & successfully delivered to customers’ expectations.

With his strong domain knowledge on building management & automation system, Sushil fervently works towards building automation software design. Owing to his considerable strength & interest in software development, project management, as well as customer relationship management, he is well suited to create products and solutions to meet the challenges of monitoring & control systems that help customers achieve their goal while maximizing energy efficiencies.

Sushil is working as the Head - Technical for IOTomation Ecotech’s products and solutions.
